It is only 2 blocks from the Forbidden city and Tiananmen Square
Be careful of the bike carriages they offer 3 yuen and then when the ride is over which for us was about 15mins, they want 300 yuen. There is no airport shuttle you can get a taxi for about 150 yuen.

The location is excellent! Literally 300 m from Tian'anmen square!
I think it is overpriced for the quality and cleanliness they provide. Very, very backpackers hotel but pretty expensive for that. Does not really have any of the "old Beijing" charm they publicise...
